The Alexandria Higher Institute for Engineering and Technology is part of a pioneering engineering system operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education. It is the first private engineering institute in Alexandria. It was established in 1997 in Smouha, in the heart of the city, next to the Sidi Gaber train station that connects Alexandria with other governorates. The institute grants a bachelor's degree in engineering from four scientific departments and aims to provide distinguished education that combines theoretical concepts and practical applications. It also seeks to provide an integrated educational experience that allows male and female students to practice all kinds of scientific, cultural, artistic, and sports activities, and to spend training periods in companies and factories in preparation for the labor market, in addition to Their role in community service and interaction with it .
