Matching with the country policy & The Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and as a desire from Alexandria higher institute of technology to help in the spreading of the information technology, the institute had been chosen to participate in the information technology spreading.

The institute prepared a special laboratory "The Information Technology Club", the laboratory has 15 computer connected to each other through a Local Area Network ( LAN) with a join printing machine. All the computers working by widnows XP operating system and connected to the internet through a 512K leased line.
